I’m sorry but this book was so painful for me to read. The first like 400 pages had so many things going on but at the same time nothing major happened. Also, I did not like how Lou and Reid were apart for so much of the book and had such POOR communication like omg. So much could’ve been avoided if they just actually talked to one another. Lou’s character in this book is also very.....interesting. I LOVED the first book so I was so disappointed with this one. I thought about just not finishing it so many times and it was really a struggle to keep going. The last 100 or so pages had some redeeming qualities that have me a little excited for the third book. Hoping things pick up in the next installment!
