3.5/5 Kind of a strange read. Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland with all of the “eat me, drink me”. also reminds me of Black Swan, but only in terms of her descent into madness. Embodies the high school desire of trying to make your way into a mean-girl cult and trying to be liked by the leader, even though you hate those bitches. A desire to fit in, desire to be liked. I did see the end coming, I had a feeling that things weren’t as they seemed. The narrator is unreliable, untrustworthy, in a dreamlike state throughout. What was real? It’s confusing to think of what parts were true and what wasnt, but I guess that’s the whole point. Good read, and exactly what I expected.
