Crooked House

“This book is one of my own special favourites. … perhaps the author isn’t the best judge of his or her own work. However, practically everybody has like Crooked House, so I am justified in my own belief that it is one of my best.” I was so excited to read her self proclaimed ‘best book’ and it really didn’t disappoint. I was so sure I had worked out the plot but by the last 30 pages everything twisted and took me by surprise. Very enjoyable read.
