Dead Leaves: 9 Tales from the Witching Season

“For one night we get to retreat from the world of adult responsibility and enjoy being the monsters. We get to dress up, give out candy, bay at the moon, or huddle up on the couch with our nearest and dearest…”🍁🍂 Dead Leaves by Kealan Patrick Burke includes 9 stories from his seasonal collection all based on Halloween night. This book just FELT like October. The chill in the air, the wind carrying the crunchy leaves across the street.. I almost wish I would have read this closer to Halloween for the added✨ambience✨ As always there were some stories that were better than others, but I enjoyed all of them and think this is the perfect novella to read during Spooky season and for any horror lovers.
