Originally picked this up because I’m obsessed with the show, and ended up getting sucked into the books. I see why everyone is so happy with the show, they’ve really stuck to the book so well. I’m SO happy I read the books, because while I love the show- the MCs internal monologues give you so much more insight to them as a person. As for the time jumps that everyone complains about, it’s based on a hockey season so they make sense, it didn’t bother me. I love the growth and development we see for both, the YEARNING. Ugh, my heart. I love it.
