This was my least favorite book out of this series. The plot was so rushed and cliche I couldn’t even get into it. And it TOTALLY lost my interest after this lovely line: “Elysande de Valance was one of those rare women a man could like, admire, respect and still want in his bed.” I kept reading to see if it would get better and it didn’t. I was bummed because Rory was one of my favorite characters in this series and when he finally got his own book it was miserable. Also, the cover of this book makes me so uncomfortable.
