This book wasn’t that great. The storyline reminded me a lot of “Turn of the Key” throughout. A nanny is dead and gets pushed out a window, and it becomes a cold case. Stella is hired as a best interest attorney (sort of like a CPS agent) to try and figure out which parent Rose should spend most time with after the divorce of the parents. Stella has her own issues behind the scenes, and this case she’s taken on is way bigger than it seems. The family is complex and hiding something. The twists were so predictable and the end was a bit boring. Definitely didn’t live up to the hype that I’ve seen online.
