I grew up watching iCarly. When I heard last year that she was exposing Nickelodeon I immediately began to follow the story. Then she released this book. It was extremely emotional to read. It’s shocking how someone that I looked up to as a kid was struggling with so much behind closed doors. She struggled with an eating disorder & sexual abuse, as well as manipulation from her mother. Her innocence throughout all of this was overwhelming. No one should ever have to go through what she did. Such a well written book that brings light to sensitive & personal topics that others would feel uncomfortable sharing.
