It probably would’ve helped if I read the first five in the series, but I was told I didn’t need to. First, I thought this was going to be like a period piece based on the description of the clothes and castle....but then there were cars and an iPod? I was very confused. Also the sexual abuse and him calling her a b*tch all the time didn’t do it for me. I will say this book was 90% sex and 10% plot if that’s something you’re into.
