This left me both heartbroken and joyous. There was a moment where I felt truly heartbroken for Aiden and Alex, realizing that maybe they didn’t get their happy ending after all. I have grown to love their relationship, and have not, in so long, been so attached to two characters. I was emotional reading over the last few chapters, upset at the Olympians, for being so ungrateful towards Alex. Apollo, though I had my doubts at times, came through with his promise - Aiden and Alex together for eternity, as demigods.
