Wow!! Compared to Alex Aster’s young adult series, Lightlark, this book stands out on top. Her writing feels mature with her imagery and pacing improved. This story felt unique, even with “trial fatigue,” which I did not feel upon reading Starside. This felt like a true enemies to lovers, with a SHOCK ending!! I was HOOKED, and I’m going to need the next book immediately!! Even with this book being 500 pages, it certainly did not feel like it. I could read another 500 pages and still be intrigued, staying up too late to get to the end. Raker can have my heart ❤️🤭
