Was very excited to read this book after seeing it all over social media the past few weeks. First off, it’s a teens book, which I didn’t realize. The dialogue is very immature & childish, which was off putting. I almost shelved this book & didn’t finish because of the dialogue alone. The plot looked so intriguing though, the reviews were high, and so many recommendations on social media; which made me pick it right back up. About halfway through, I started getting really into it. The chapters go back and forth with two POV. The first is of a girl who wakes up on the side of the road with no memories of how she got there, taken to a police station, and her “dad” comes into saying she got into a car accident and he’s been looking for her. Second POV is a boy whose girlfriend has gone missing & the whole town has pinned it on him. The twist at the end I didn’t see coming, and I will say it’s a little sad. But overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this unless you’re looking for something easy to read with a twist.
