“the data doesn’t lie.” “it doesn’t tell the truth either.” this book honestly freaked me out a little… mostly because i could 1000% see the U.S. government doing something like this 😅 the concept itself was super interesting, and i actually think the execution delivered well. the entire time i was reading, i had this uneasy feeling that never really went away. this lowkey felt like a horror story. not in a jump-scare way, but in that slow, creeping, this could actually happen kind of way. definitely one that lingers after you finish it.
