The Film You Are About To See is packed with blood, creative kills, (Haley, the vomit bags!?), and a heavy dose of nostalgia. It's a fast-paced creature-feature that reads like a classic horror film with a cast of characters that are easy to love and root for. I wish I was hanging out with them at the Dusk Til Dawn Spooktacular, under better circumstances of course. This is a must read for any horror fans, but particularly those who enjoy classic horror films. It's a love letter to everything that makes the classics stand the test of time, the creature, the tensions, and the memorable characters. You can feel Haley's love and knowledge for the genre shine through the pages and I can't wait to read more from her! Thank you Net Galley, Haley, and Mad Axe Media for the E-ARC!
