What readers say
I haven’t been this invested in a book in quite some time. It was an extremely well-written page turner. The book is from the POV of a middle class girl(Rosie) going to Yale, swept into a friend group of rich nepo babies. But after being away for a year, there’s a new friend(Analiese) in the group, and Rosie has to be her roommate, without much say. At first she’s skeptical, but she befriends her and they realize they have more in common than Rosie realized. But Analiese has a lot of secrets that keeps to herself. And they slowly begin to unravel around her, making the other girls skeptical. It’s a book about the hardships and unfairness of life, and the cards that you’re handed and how they determine who you are. There’s a few twists at the end, and some sadness. Overall an amazing, amazing read.
