This book is the kind of read that pulls you in right away and I absolutely ATE. IT. UP. I’m a sucker for any kind of time travel trope and Paula Lafferty handled it BEAUTIFULLY. Sometimes I find myself uninterested in one or a couple of side characters depending on the book but this was not the case! I fell in love with each character and cared so much about what happened to each of them - They all felt like main characters to me! I have no notes other than when it ended I said out loud “WHAT? THATS IT??” And now I have to endure the worst fate… waiting for book 2! 😭 I cried, I laughed out loud, I clenched my jaw with anxiety, I kicked my feet and blushed, all of the elements that I look for in a book (give me the emotional rollercoaster! 🎢)
