I love getting to know more characters from the off-campus universe. The author manages to get me hooked EVERY SINGLE TIME. I felt like these characters had more depth to them, compared to some of her previous characters. You knew exactly why Brenna’s dad felt the way he did and it was VALID. But that doesn’t exactly make the way he acted okay. I loved getting to read about Brenna and her relationship with her dad get better after being strained for such a long time. Jake was stupid when he broke it off, and I knew Hazel had feelings but I’m so happy that Brenna and Jake worked it all out cause they are soooo cute together.
