the will of the many was just okay for me. at first, i liked how detailed the writing was because it really pulled me into the world, but it often felt too detailed and dragged on. there were a lot of training scenes and conversations that felt repetitive and didn’t need to be included. the story itself had a few interesting moments, but overall i found it pretty boring. the main character was my biggest issue… Vis felt very arrogant and unrealistically perfect. he’s constantly shown as smarter and better than everyone else, almost never struggles, and doesn’t have much personality beyond being amazing at everything, which made him feel shallow. the book was also way longer than it needed to be. i thought the worldbuilding and magic system were decent, but some things weren’t explained very well. personally, this felt more like a ya book than adult fantasy. overall, i didn’t hate it, but i didn’t love it either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
