well thank goodness that’s over. this book felt about 1,000 pages long and not in a good way. how did almost nothing happen in 500 pages?? the writing was okay but i constantly felt like i missed things and that the pacing was not right. i’m pretty sure all of these “events” happened within a few days. the insta love was awful and so ridiculous. there were so many unnecessary details and don’t get me started on the long, drawn out inner monologues about NOTHING of importance. everything felt so stilted and awkward. the interactions with the characters were odd and again felt like i had missed prior conversations or things happening. i wanted to like this so bad but unfortunately it was a miss.
