Thank you to KC Brooks and her team for allowing me to review this book as part of an ARC! This is exactly the book that I expected. It was cute, lighthearted, and precisely what I was hoping it would be. It was the easiest read and while it may have been a little bit predictable, I felt myself continually reaching for it and wanting to read more. While the grumpy x sunshine trope is a common one, I was really happy with the way this was written. It was adorable to watch the two of them fall in love and finally admit their feelings for each other. Also Calla is the cutest lil human being and I just want to give her a hug for all she has to deal with 🥺 I can’t wait for the next one!
