4.75 ⭐️ Loved this follow up on Briana and Jacob! The characters felt real, and Jacob’s anxiety was handled so well. Briana’s trauma was also well-written but the ending where she was pushing Jacob away frustrated me. I understood why but it was hard to read that she still didn’t trust him. Throughout the book, I felt for the characters - the miscommunication and denial of their feelings. It was heartbreaking to read Jacob’s pov in some chapters. But what a happy ending!
